  • Itinerary: 03 Days/ 02 Nights.
Day 1: Cusco - Huacarpay Lake - Ollantaytambo

We start our Ecotour in Cuzco first thing in the morning and transfer by bus to the hotel in the town of Ollantaytambo. At a lower elevation than Cuzco, we will barely feel the elevation and will begin to acclimatize while doing some easy birding in the Valley. Good birds to find are Giant Hummingbird, Green-tailed Hummingbird, Green-tailed Trainbearer, in the way we are going to make stop in the Huacarpay lake and look for de endemic bird Bearded Mountaineer and birds like Rusty fronted Canastero, and more.

Day 2: Ollantaytambo - Abra Malaga - Cusco

Abra Malaga, 45 Km from the Village of Ollantaytambo in the Sacred Valley, dry forest, mountain scrub forest, This places show you some of the locals and endemic Birds like the White Tufted Sunbeam, Creamy-crested Spinetail, Chesnut-Breasted Mountain finch, Royal Cinclodes, Tit like Dacnis, White-tufted Sunbeam, Great Sapphirewing, Giant Hummingbird, and White-bellied Hummingbird. Andean parakeet etc. Coming back to Cusco transfer to your hotel.
Overnight at Los Andes de America ***.

Day 3: Cusco - Saccsayhuaman

Half-day morning visit and birding around the Saccsayhuaman ruins, where we look for birds like Cream Crested Spinetail, white winged dove, Chestnut breasted Mountain Finch and more.
